How do I activate photoTAN?
Activation of photoTAN can be done either by using the photoTAN reader or by using the photoTAN app but only once you have received the activation letter. The activation letter will be sent by post a few days after you have applied for access to the Corporate Banking Portal. Please ensure you keep the letter for future activations.
Activating photoTAN via photoTAN app
- Download the photoTAN app (Google Play Store or App Store) and open it.
- Tap on "Start now".
- Give "Camera access" permission to allow scanning of the activation graphic.
- Scan the QR code on your activation letter.
- Enter your access data for the Corporate Banking Portal in the photoTAN app and tap on "Next".
- Give the photoTAN app permission to send you push notifications.
- Tap the "Done" button to complete the activation.
Activation of photo TAN by reader
- Start the reader.
- Use your reader to scan the QR Code on your activation letter.
- Log in with your access data to Corporate Banking Portal.
- If you do not have an active TAN method, you will be automatically redirected to your TAN settings. Click on your TAN settings if you are already using an active TAN reader.
- After the word "photoTAN", select the button "Activate".
- On the page you will see another QR code. Scan it with your scanner and a number code (TAN) will be generated.
- Enter this TAN in the field provided in the Corporate Banking Portal and click on the button "Next".
- Complete the activation with the "Yes" and "Done" buttons in your reader.
Further Information
- You need the photoTAN app or the photo TAN reader in combination with another device (computer, tablet or similar).
- If you have misplaced your activation letter, you can request a new activation letter at any time quickly and easily.
- It is recommended that you use your reader privately. The use of your reader is the same as using your signature so do please keep it safe.
- Distance when scanning the graphic: 10 - 20 cm.
- The photoTAN app and reader can be used worldwide. If you use a reader and a computer, you do not need a smartphone/tablet. In addition to the app and reader, no other programs are necessary.
